Equal Cumulative Voting
This election type is not available yet.
Description: A form of Ratings Voting. If a voter marks 1 option, the entire value of the vote goes to that option. Where the voter marks 2 options, half the value of their vote would go to each.
Cumulative Voting Has two variants, "equal" and "weighted". Equal is where if a voter marks 1 option, the entire value of the vote goes to that option. Where the voter marks 2 options, half the value of their vote would go to each. Where the number of marks a voter can make is the same as the number of options to be chosen, this is called "block" voting Weighted variant is where each voter may have a different number of votes (eg: representing stocks in a company). The voter explicitly assigns weightings against each option.
Commentary: In cumulative voting a voter can assign different values against each candidate.
